Wayzata’s new chocolate shop invites a belief in magic

WAYZATA — It’s hard not to be enchanted by the opulence and imagination alive in chocolate shops, evident too in their whimsical chocolatiers.

In the film “Chocolat,” Vianne spins a petit French town on its head with her chocolate concoctions. Villagers kneel at confession, detailing the sweetness of chocolate drops and the creamy center of truffles.

In Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, Charlie Bucket samples bubbling, delectable imagination with his golden ticket, swept into the outrageous world of Mr. Wonka.

The impossible isn’t so out of reach either at this Minnesota shop. Read more.

L’More Chocolat open on Wayzata’s Lake Street

Walk into the new L’More Chocolat shop off of Lake Street and you may be greeted with a “try this” and owner Kathy Ehrmann’s outstretched hand holding her latest creation – perhaps a latte macchiato flavored chocolate or a handmade, heart-shaped prosecco truffle. Read more.
