This year we celebrate the season with a simple Laurel Wreath, embossed in our 2024 Holiday Collection chocolates! Recognized as an international symbol of victory at the Olympics, the broader meaning of the laurel wreath spans beyond the notion of winning and losing, but rather to symbolize peace and unity.

Rather than two separate branches, at the base of every laurel wreath those two branches come together into a single unbroken  wreath of unity.  In ancient times, Roman generals wore laurel wreaths during times of peace.  The same wreath today is a symbol of the highest honor for peace at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies, hence the custom of applying the word “laureate” to every Nobel Peace Prize winner.
